Hey there guys. Last night, just for the hell of it, I decided to take my car for a spin..even though it is literally in peices, and I drove it around for a good hour. After that hour, I realised two things, I need to hurry and get this car back together, cause it is simply awesome to drive, and #2, that my suspension setup is great, except for one part...the GC coilovers I have on new stock adjustable struts. I did it this way, so the ride quality would still be "soft," while also upgrading it and maintaining the in cockpit control of it. This setup is nice and does feel better than stock and I love the ride height, but DAMN...it is just NOT stiff enough for my likings and it also bounces which is simply annoying as hell lol. Anyways, I am now looking at getting a coilover setup for my car, since I would like to start tracking it anyways, and it almost seems pointless to me to go all out on every aspect of this car, but then to "half ass" it with the shock and spring setup. What I am looking for is simple feedback on various coilover setups for our cars. I obviously have no experience with them, so whatever yall tell me will be a great help. Right now, I am interested in either the spl ones, since I have everything spl, and their service rocks, or the Teins for it's in cockpit adjustability and name brand. Once again, I don't know what is best, so any help is appreciated. Some have told me the Teins are great, and you can make them awesome and soft when you want it, or awesome and harsh when you want it. Others have told me they are always stiff and harsh. If any of yall have feedback on either of these, or even any others, please let me know. If it is stiff, I really don't mind that much..it's worth it when you hit a nice smooth road, or a nice curvy smooth one. Thanks!
